About the Owner

Mary Thomas Sullivan, CRM, has extensive experience in records management. This experience covers technical processing, backfile conversion, archiving of corporate photo files, reference, and administration of technical, corporate and public libraries.

Formerly, the records manager for corporations and a municipality, she is currently consulting in various aspects of records and information management. She holds a B.S. degree from Sam Houston State University and a MLS degree from The University of Texas.  In addition, Mrs. Sullivan has earned the designation of CRM, Certified Records Manager, from The Institute of Certified Records Managers, and CQIA, Certified Quality Improvement Associate, from The American Society for Quality.

Certifications

Associated Records is certified by the State of Texas as a HUB (Historically Underutilized Business), by the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, is listed with Dun & Bradstreet and is registered with the Central Contractor Registration System for federal government contracts.

Mrs. Sullivan is a member of the Longview ARK-LA-TEX, www.arklatexarma.org, chapter of ARMA, the Association of Records Managers and Administrators, www.arma.org. She was instrumental in the organizing and chartering of the Longview ARK-LA-TEX chapter of ARMA and served as the first president of that chapter. She is also a member of the American Society for Quality, www.asq.org and the Society of Southwest Archivists, http://lib-04.lib.uh.edu/ssa/ssa.htm.
